Know the the charity that collects used stamps and gives money to Hurricane survivors or something like that?

For a school leadership project I have to do something that can help out people in the community or in our country. I had heard from someone once that you could collect used stamps and give them to some kind of organization that would give the money to hurrricane survivors or something like that. I'm not really sure what it is called but It would be very appreciated if one could tell me the name of the organization and a little information. I couldn't find it on google to save my life. Thank You.

I think it's Cal Farley's Boys Ranch; the stamps are archived and re-sold to benefit the ranch.

I don't know about hurricane victims.

You can donate stamps to the Lion's Club. They use them to get veterans interested in stamp collecting at VA hospitals. The program is called "Stamps for the Wounded".
