I've been remodeling an old one-axle camping trailer. It has the windows that have four or five rectangular Plexiglas slats, and when you turn a hand crank, it tilts the slats and opens the windows. Well, I've been having quite a bit of water leaking through the window, and I'm looking to replace the small rubber trim that goes around the edge of the window and seals it when the window is closed.
The best that I can describe this trim is that it is quite narrow, and there is a sort of c-shaped track that these rubber strips run through. So the rubber strips themselves are kind of H shaped (if you're looking at one end of the strip) and are about a foot long each. I've searched and searched on the net for something, but it seems like it's too old of a style to be found now. Has anyone run across a window seal like this (they were even quite popular on older mobile homes with a similar style of window)? Do you know where I can find such a seal?
