  1. ebay or chicks saddlry

  2. At this time I don't know that Myler makes bits small enough for mini's.  The smallest width they carry by Toklat (their dealer) is 4.75" wide.  Still too wide for a mini.

However, Dale Myler does dabble in custom bits - check out www.mylerbitsusa.com and ask him if he's got such a thing.

the only bits I've found for minis at the tack store where I work are from a dealer called JT Products - they have traditional snaffles, full cheek snaffles, tom thumbs, eggbutts and I think even some other english ones - but nothing high in technology.

The JT Bits are all pretty low price - they aren't made of high class materials or high technology like a myler though.

    Good luck.

  3. I use a comfort snaffle on my arab she loves it. Just look on ebay, except for you might have to order it from the myler website if you want such a small size.

Someone said the smallest they make is a 4.75 but i know for a fact they make a 4 1/2 inch in a myler D ring comfort snaffle and a myler loose ring snaffle.

What are you using your mini for? If driving, you can find them in alot of tack catalogs like Shneiders (sstack.com) in mini sizes i think. Good luck!

  4. Here is a list of mini tack sites. Shop around and find the best price on what you are looking for.

  5. eBay.  If they don't have what you're looking for, you can set it up to periodically do keyword searches for you and it will e-mail you when one does come up.

EDIT:  Oh, MINIs?  I thought "Minnie" was the horse's name...hehe.  Oops.
