  1. It was a decision based strictly on demographics in terms of vote achievement. His biggest argument against his competition so far is inexperience and my biggest argument against him is now hypocrisy.

  2. i'm still very tickled about his choice. First of all, I don't believe this man is right for the job, because the whole time this election has just been a dirty game to him. Commercial after commercial after commercial, he makes obvious commercials to show his support for Obama on the big night of his speech. I mean I honeslty do not think that man chose her because she was the best, and a lot of repulicans r upset about that. I mean, at least Obama chose his running mate because he sincerely thought he would be the right man for the job from his background and what all that man had went through throughout his life. Because I'm not even gonna lie. At first I was like "who the heck is this guy?" until I started learning about him. i believe the republicans were expecting a running mate to really hit it out the ball park, especially since obama had made history for all of those americans showing up to watch him speak, let alone the people outside of the stadium in different states.  the woman is inexperienced (they can't get Obama about that anymore..strike 1) she's being investigated for stuff (strike 2) It is obvious that he chose this woman to win all of Hilary Clinton's voters and YOUNG women which drives the helping him win pretty much out of the window (strike 3) and this man has always voted against women and their rights so he chose her to make it seem like he was for women's rights, let alone that, mccain is kind of up in age, and u never know what can happen. If something were to happen, America has to watch this woman be president and she wouldn't know what the heck she is doing (YOU'RE OUT!) I mean, I honestlsy don't understand it. Although I am a democrat, even I was expecting mccain to make a better choice than that, but he screwed it up for his own side. A lot of people are furious about that and I really do understand why, and I'm not speaking republican or democrat on this. I'm just simply saying from all the way around.

  3. I think that Obama hit it out of the park last night when he made the statement that this election is about what the American people want in 2008. Bringing a right- wing, gun-packing, soccer-mom from Alaska onboard as a Vice Presidential candidate in hopes of pulling the Clinton vote appears to be "Carl Rove" business as usual and another insult to the voters of this nation on the part of the GOP. McCain and the rest of the Republicans really don't get it this time. What do we have to show for the past eight years of Republican control of the White House? We have an economy in the tank, a dismal decline in U S standing around the world, an unnecessary war Iraq for the benefit big oil, and a government that has been the most unresponsive to the electorate in the history of this nation since that of Herbert Hoover. The packed house in Mile High Stadium and the 35 million television viewers that watched Obama's speech last night should provide the Republican Party with a clue as to its aspirations for maintaining the Presidency. We're eight years overdue for a change and a McCain/Palin ticket isn't itThere is NO way any Clinton supporters are going to support McCain just because he picked a women. Clinton supporters will never support someone as right-wing and "out of the mainstream" as Paulin. Her husband is in big oil and she is against equal pay for women, a women's right to chose and g*y rights. She is Bush in a dress with NO experience in foriegn affairs, she has not met any foriegn leaders and with John McCain's age and health the fact that this completely inexpericed women could someday be president is unacceptable and frightning. This is not change this more of the same and enough is enough. VOTE OBAMA/Biden
