Knowing that life is unfair, isn't it sort of cruel to bring someone into this life?

Question

as in having children

cuz u know eventually that child u brought into this world is gonna have its heart broken

and life is gonna be unfair to them like it has been to the rest of us

then knowing all that isnt it mean to bring someone into this life just so it can deal with trials and turbulations and have its dreams crushed and heart broken at one point in time? arent some people just better off not ever being born?

i asked myself this quest several times but then realized that first

life isnt always the empty half of the cup    nd second parents have the right to experience parenthood nd see their children grow...

What about all the wonderful things in life? At the risk of sounding trite: what about sunrises, ice cream, falling in love (maybe it won't end in heartache...and even if it does, that builds character and offers the promise of falling in love again), learning to swim, reading an awesome book - what about all the joy of sharing the good things with your children?

If we teach our children the good things - if everyone did that, then things might get better...baby steps, ya know?

What about adoption, anyway? So someone new isn't brought in, but some child, who really needs it, gets a loving home.

Life is really more lovely than anything else.

Who ever said that life was meant to be fair...?  When most of us live comfortable lives & want for nothing who are WE to talk about what's fair !

Go talk to those who go to bed hungry , those with no educational opportunities, children without parents , people living under oppression....they may be able to tell you what it's really like to experience unfairness !

Life is unfair at times, but it is absolutely sublime at others.

I think the cruelty would be not giving them the chance to experience for themselves.

I have had a lot of things go wrong in my life, but I have had some of the best times imaginable too.

Life is mainly what you make out of it.

hmm well I would not say that sam.. But what I would like to tell you is this.. Your 15 when I was age 11-18 it was the hardest time in my life. Its the hardest time in any girls life. You start to have experiences with boys and life. Your suddenly a grown woman in alot of peoples eyes. Look you have to know this... your parents only want whats best for you and I will say 100% by the time your my age (25) you will agree with everything your parents put you through at this age your in right now. Also boys.. I fell in love the first time when i was 15. I still think of that to this day it was a very hard time for me.. and now that Im an adult I know this is a normal process you know you fall in love its normal... but It will pass the pain and heartach will pass and you will have another pain or heart ache but it will not always be like this :) So try to be positive try to understand where your parents are coming from and never let a love control your desicions in life .. well at least for now :)

I don't think so heart break and trials or just lessons.  They are only negative if you let them be.  If you get a more sunny disposition you'll be able to give your child a sunny disposition and they'll be great!

Life isn't unfair. It treats the good and the bad equally (Laws of the Universe).

It's the monsters who call themselves people. They won't leave us alone untill they drag us to their Dark World, in my case they showed a great success.

As for the children part, I don't want to have a baby because I don't want ME to destroy him/her.
