  1. There should be a proof from the Qur'aan and Sunnah that states addictive things are Haraam.

As some things which are Halaal may be addictive, some people find eating Mansaf addiciting (go to Jordan and tell them Kapsa is better than Mansaf and see what they'll say to you), whilst some find chocolates addicting.

But the Asl is that these are Halaal, unless you find a text prohibiting them.

  2. Too much of anything can be harmful, and there is sufficient proof that too much chocolate (cocoa) can be harmful and hazardous to the health. So if you look at it like that, then the answer to your question is yes- letting yourself (carelessly) get addicted to chocolate is Har'am!

  3. NO!!!!

  4. ok, what the heck? do you guys want to prevent us from everything in this life? CHOCOLATES? being haram? I swear sometimes, you guys take it toooo far. Just leave life the way it is, K? Prevent us from all joy, too, K? People like you and your friend bug me sooo much by telling me EVERYTHING is haram. You guys already made me feel bad about doing my brows. Like what the heck? ugh. I just can't get it out of my head. CHOCOLATES???

  5. give a proof that addicted things are Haram please.

  8. are you crazy? no theyr not! and the addictive things that are haram are the onse bad for the human and may lead them to trouble. ie. drugs and such

so no chocolate is not haram unless its the type with alcohol in it.

  9. I am addicted to it! As long as it does not have an affect on your health no problem!!!

  10. Islam is known as the 'median' religion....The muslim community is known as 'ummatul wasat'- literally meaning, the balanced people; ie. people who do not exceed in anything.....So, as such, we should not abuse anything....
