Question:

Kobe's Japanese Steak House Recipe?

At Kobe's Japanese Steak House, they serve a delicious soup there before the entree. The soup is a mushroom soup. It is clear, and with a tan color. It had a little bit of parsley or some green plant in it.

Ok, so my question is:

Does anyone know the recipe to that soup? It was so good that I want to make it on my own.

I know that other mushroom soups are kind of chunky with bits of mushroom in it. But this one was clear with NOTHING in it but the parsley.

Please! Can someone give me that recipe?!

  1. IT IS Called MISO SOUP - the "green" stuff was seaweed.

Miso Soup -- omit tofu if you don't like it

    INGREDIENTS

    2 teaspoons dashi granules

    4 cups water

    3 tablespoons miso paste

1 (8 ounce) package silken tofu, diced

2 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces

    DIRECTIONS

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine dashi granules and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and whisk in the miso paste. Stir in tofu. Separate the layers of the green onions, and add them to the soup. Simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
