Bryant surpassing Malone’s all time scoring record
Kobe Bryant- the Black Mamba surpassed Moses Malone on NBA’s all time scoring list. The player now holds the sixth position on the career scoring list and is just 1,100 points shy of breaking former teammate Shaquille O’Neal’s record to claim fifth position. The Los Angeles Lakers won their eighth straight game and Bryant scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds in the contest. When asked about his record, the modest player said, "I'm just very fortunate, that's all."
Ellis’ career high 3-pointers
Monta Ellis made a career-high six 3 pointers in Golden State’s 95-85 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The player notched a game-high 24 points, making a game-best seven assists and also grabbed seven rebounds and took two steals. The player helped his team secure a double-digit lead by pouring out five 3-pointers in the third quarter alone. He along with Stephen Curry added the spark that the team needed to steer to victory.

Lowry’s off the bench performance
While the Houston Rockets faltered to a 113-110 loss against the Phoenix Suns at the US Airways Center, one player kept his team’s morale up. Kyle Lowry gave a tough fight; the Rockets point guard guarded his team very well and scored 32 points, dished out four assists and hit the three-pointer 11 times out of which he sealed seven threes.
