Kochi Airport to Guruvayur?

Question

How can I get to Guruvayur from the Kochi Airport by bus/train? I just checked the taxi fare and it is over Rs 1000. How else can I get to Guruvayur? I will reach Kochi around 8:30 in the morning.

Kochi airport is situated in Nedumbassery

From there u can catch taxi upto Athaani, or Ernakulam, from where u can get plenty of KSRTC buses to Guruvayur. Really no need to come even Ernakulam. U can get KSRTC buses from Ernakulam to Guruvayur at Aluva also. I mean from Nedumbassery airport to Athani u have to catch the taxi

There u can get Guruvayur bus, but i am not sure, anyway u can get bus to Aluva and Ernakulam

Once u reach aluva or ernakulam, there are plenty of buses to guruvayur

Here is some advice ask freinds and family for money to go also...a good way is to walk as it is free but also good exercise..

Try going by rikshaw or auto
