Kochi Tuskers Kerala captain Mahela Jayawardene asks his teammates to be consistent

Jayawardene and men jumped up to the sixth position in the points table by sealing their sixth triumph of the season last night.

In response, the Kochi side overwhelmed the target convincingly with the help of blistering batting from Brendon McCullum and Hodge.
Although, the Tuskers are out of the play-off race and have just one more game to play in the tournament, Jayawardene asked his players to deliver their one hundred percent in the next game and finish the competition off on a pleasant note.
"We need to try and be more consistent, that`s a key word in Twenty20 cricket," Jayawardene said. "We want to finish off the season on a high, with 14 points, and we`d like to say we had a good season," added former Sri Lankan skipper.
Expressing complete satisfaction over his team’s excellent performance against Rajasthan team, the Lankan batsman was pleased by the manner in which his side achieved the victory.
On the other hand, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rajasthan-c837 Royals’ skipper, Shane Warne, felt that the batting failure was the prime reason of his team’s embarrassing defeat at the hands of Kerala outfit.
The skipper expressed disappointment over the performance of his batsmen who failed to show their magic in front of home crowd. However, he hoped that the players would learn from their mistakes.
"It was probably one of those nights when you were 100-120 short. We can only try as much as we can. I`m proud of our guys as they are trying very hard. (But) to lose four games in a row, we`ve just made too many mistakes," Warne described.
The Royals have just one game left in the season. Warne urged his players to come up with improved performance in their last game and finish the tournament on high.
