Question:

Kodak CX6330 Digital Camera deleting pictures and videos?

If I delete a picture or video from the camera, will it continue to be on the camera or a memory card I've used after it's deleted? (Kinda like a computer.) Is there any way of getting rid of them if the pictures and videos are still there?

  1. If you go through the camera, once you hit delete, it's gone.  Memory cards don't really have a recycle bin.  So once you've deleted a picture, the memory is freed up.

I'm not quite sure what your question is asking, but if you're asking if you can do something like hit delete, and then have them be in the recycle bin so you have more memory available, then you're out of luck.  Even on a computer, unless you empty the recycle bin, the thing is still taking up your hardddrive space.

    I hope that helps!

  2. Only if you take more pics or videos over them. There is software out there, such as R Studio, which will recover the deleted files if they were erased on error. This is true for most all magnetic media. That is also a way to recover files from a hard drive that have been deleted. The file it's self is not deleated, only the TOC is changed.
