Kodak Easy Share Camera?

I have a Kodak Easy Share camera and it is having problems taking pictures indoors. The screen has a "AE"symbol that shows up in red and the pictures I take when that symbol is present all look horrible. I don't know if I am using the wrong setting or what. Has anyone else had this problem and corrected it?

I have had this same experience with my Kodak easy share camera, all the pics look terrible and dark.  Now, my camera is not showing the display when I turn it on.  It has been a horrible experience and I am never buying a kodak camera again!

Set your cameras mode to night portrait, museum/manner, high ISO, digital IS or candlelight.
