Which camera is better? I'll just be using it for the basic point and shoot, but at the same time, I want quality pictures. I'm not lookin to spend over $150, so I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

I've tried a couple lower end Kodaks when shopping for a gift and found that a)pictures were very soft (sometimes crummy), b) massive shutter lag c) awful battery life.  I actually bought one, thinking it was the best of the economy line. I exchanged it for a lower end Nikon CoolPix. Turned out to be a great gift.
