I have a digital Kodak easyShare C340. It eats batteries like there's no tommorrow. Are all C340s like that or is my camera have a defect.

Also, I do have some chargable batteries that came with the camera. I've tried to charge them but they don't last as long as regular batteries. How exactlly do you charge batteries for a kodak camera.

  1. Digital cameras are not designed to run with alkaline batteries.

I would highly recommend to use NiMH AA rechargeable batteries (2600 mAh or above).  The mAh value is the capacity of the battery.  You can take usually over 100 pictures with a pair of 2600mAh AA batteries.
