Kodak V750 memory card format?

So i'm about to leave for vacation and trying desperately to format my memory card so that my camera can use it. it will spontaneously unformat at unfortunate times, but right now i'm just trying to get it back, and none of the formats my computer can do are working. I've got NFTA (sp?) FAT and FAT32. my camera can't format it either, and i've gotta leave soon... please help!

Maybe it's incompatible or defective.  SDHC (up to 4GB) cards are not supported by older cameras; only the standard SD (up to 2GB).  Buy a new card if nothing works.  

BTW SD cards and other flash memory devices (e.g. thumb drives) should be formatted in FAT only for compatibility.
