Kodocha? (anime)? question?

i watched the first episode of kodocha with the english dub and thought it was okay. does it get better? oh and is it funny. and is the english dub good?

ok so i know this is an anime question, but i LOVE kodocha so i just had to put in a good word for the manga--basically the manga is better. i have read it five thousand times and it's always just so good, a perfect combination of hilarity and heartbreak. so i would recommend reading the manga. as for the anime, if it's anything at all like the manga, it will be good. from what i have seen it seems to go a little more for the comedic side of the story, which i personally think is a mistake but it all depends on what you're looking for. i would recommend that you not watch it in english dub because while dubs of the studio ghibli films are always first rate, other anime dubs tend to be second class, with bad voice actors and terrible pronunciation of the characters' japanese names...
