Kofi Kingston overwhelms Awesome Miz on Monday night Raw SuperShow – Wrestling news
The ever-smiling Kofi Kingston overwhelmed Awesome Miz on Monday Night Raw’s SuperShow after making his signature move.
The 976th episode of WWE’s flagship Raw started in an energetic way putting forth an ultimate show, chilling controversies, and raw power-bouts which made the whole arena shout out loud.
Amidst the epic brawls of Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and others, was a brawl between two young and emerging superstars.
Miz and Kofi are two brawlers who have earned much respect in their respective roles. Nowadays Miz is left alone and is being booed heavily by the whole WWE universe for his aristocratic and always complaining attitude, the attitude that involves blaming
others for his losses wrongfully.
The wild ride between Miz and Kofi started with the guest entrance of R-Truth, one of Miz’s several betrayal victims, who sat alongside Jerry the King Lawler as a guest commentator for the bout. Kofi came in the ring with his high flying spirit jumping here
and there and entering the ring eventually in a charismatic way.
The Awesome Miz, infamous for his jabbering, entered the ring with a microphone in his hand and started degrading Kofi saying that he is not worthy enough to stand with the awesome Miz in the same ring. The bout started and both men gave a brilliant show
of strength and resilience.
Kofi, the former tag team partner of Evan Bourne, started the things off with a headlock but Miz successfully came out of it and started pounding Kofi mercilessly and forcefully. At one moment when Kofi, in a highflying way, jumped over the cornered Miz,
the Awesome one moved himself away from Kofi’s body as a result Kingston struck his head hard on the covers of the ring corner.
Kingston laid down flat and when Miz came back to him in order to inflict more damage Kofi, in an agile but futile attempt, tried to pin him. Later on after a brutal exchange of punches, breaking each other’s attempt to apply decisive moves, Kofi eventually
found the gap and executed his Trouble in Paradise.
The hit was so hard that the whole arena echoed and it seemed that Miz’s head knocked off his shoulders. Miz dropped on the ring floor like a dead wood. Kofi then pinned Awesome Miz down and after a countdown, was declared the winner of the match.
