Kohl's Sleepover??

Question

Okay; so my friends and I were thinking about spending the night at a local Kohl's Department store. I was wondering if anyone had any idea if there are cameras or other security systems inside that work during the night. Our plan is to hide under a bed until everyone leaves. If anyone knows if this will work; help would be greatly appreciated(: Thanks. --Also; I would appreciate if I didn't get any feedback about how stupid our plan is; just help, again; thank you!!

Recommendation: Don't do it.  As a Kohl's employee we're pretty good with making sure all customers have left. We may not check under the beds, but our security guards may notice you acting funny, especially if you brought other stuff with you for your overnight stay.  Backpacks usually attract attention to your self (think shoplifter)

I don't know about motion alarms and what not, but almost every night there is some sort thing going on: restock, truck unload, new sale signing, yada yada.  Unless you know that no one's working overnight, you're gonna get busted.

i htink that is awsome its really hard they do have night gaurds so u probly would get caught u might get away with it but if u dont want to take the risk go for it..

worked at kohl's for 7 yrs and i wouldn't recommend it.  their cameras are always on.  not only that but most stores have crews that work nights with stock, and doing ad signs.  so, you may have one crew there from close until 2 or 3am and then a stock crew in at 6am or so and that's if they do seperate shifts.  otherwise overnight is 10pm-6am.  i really wouldn't risk it.  and security watches the cameras before closing... so you want to hide you better get under the bed at 6pm, hope that a) they didn't see you hiding and b)they forgot they saw you walking around and not leaving.

I think they might have motion detectors. If they do, then the alarm would go off if you even moved an inch. Also, surveillance cameras record 24/7 so no doubt you would get caught on tape. They might also have a night shift security guard in the store, or maybe even guard dogs.

and ive tried that before not at a kohls

though

what happend is we hid in a weird display thing and

they said how we got found is that ppl were watching on the camras while we hid and they didnt see us leave

but anyways have fun!
