The legendary German central defender is not impressed by the newly acquired stopper, and doubts the player’s ability to cope with the challenge of playing at the top level of football at the Allianz Arena outfit.

The 1990 World Cup and 1996 European Championships winner raised his concerns as to whether the Brazilian player http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dante-c10236 will settle down at Bayern Munich after his switch from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Monchengladbach.
The defender faces stiff competition in the heart of Bayern defence and will have to give his maximum efforts to gain a place in the starting eleven, as he has not displayed great performances as yet for the Roten side.
The 46-year-old manager played for Bayern Munich, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund in his career and stated that the former Gladbach player is a good signing. He further added that the defender has no experience of the top competitions
but can improve his game in order to get a starting birth with his new side.
The retired professional stressed that the FC Hollywood outfit face a tricky condition as they have a choice of three quality centre-backs and only two can play. Presently, Holger Badstuber is deployed at left-back as Rafinha is
injured but when he comes back it will be interesting to see which two centre-back gets the nod.
"I find Bayern's situation in defence very interesting, the two centre-back positions in particular," Kohler was quoted as saying in an interview.
Kohler admits that Der FCB may struggle in their defence as Dante lacks the quality to perform in Europe’s Premier cup competition. The player was a good performer in the league last term as he helped Gladbach qualify for Europe.
"This is not their best area in my opinion. Dante is certainly not a bad player, but Bayern are aiming high in Europe, and it remains to be seen whether he has the quality to succeed at the highest level," he finally concluded.
Dante has started and played the entire Die Roten matches as Bayern won back to back league matches in the ongoing season but the only uncertainty is his credibility when they will start their European campaign.
