Koi fish help pretty plz!!

i have a lake on my farm that i wanted to add koi to to give it some life but it is pretty dirty so i was wondering if there is any specific requirements that the lake will need for the koi to live in and if u know any information about it could u plz tell me

lake? or a mudpond?  is it a closed lake no leak to river or sea?  and is it private property?   In a mud pond breeders just throw the tiny kois then harvest it when it grows big just like this http://www.geocities.com/koiphilippines2...

if it is a government owned lake I will not suggest you to destroy the ecosystem of the lake.  In Austraila koi is being banned due to hobbyist throw their koi in rivers and lake since koi produces lots of waste and eat a lot it polluted the lakes and river and become a pest.
