from the stands.
The league meeting at Arena Khimki on Saturday was abandoned by the match officials prior to a decisive outcome in the wake of questionable, outrageous and intolerable act by the intriguing home fans.
However, it is not the first time since they have committed the ugly crime. They have been accused of hitting their own players with a paintball gun during a routine workout due to a series of disappointing results last month.
The Dinamiki fans, meanwhile, interrupted the Moscow-based club’s Russian Cup tie against Torpedo Moscow back in September after entering the pitch on large numbers.
Kokorin has offered sympathy to Shunin, telling the 25-year-old that he was lucky enough to escape a long term injury despite being hit by the firecracker during the first-half of the match.
Though Shunin was taken to the hospital immediately after the injury, the doctors have declared the 6 foot 3 inches shot-stopper unfit to play the upcoming crucial matches and advised him for a bed rest until December.
According to preliminary assessment by the physicians, the goalkeeper does not need a surgery after sustaining a foot injury in the match.
“It is really sad to see what happened at our home. First, it was Torpedo and now against Zenit. I think the fans need to be more cultured and disciplined and they should be penalized following the incidents.”
“It's hard to say why they did it. Maybe it's some of their internal affairs but in my view, this is very strange they did it despite knowing that they will be punished by the Russian football union.” The former Lokomotiv Moscow
player was quoted as saying.
The Musora are now waiting for the officials to make a decision about when they can replay the suspended fixture.
