Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir all for the use of UDRS
Captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gautam-Gambhir-c58623 maintained that he is in favour of the use of the Umpire Decision Review System (UDRS) as it can reduce human errors and ensure better accuracy.
“These (UDRS) are part and parcel of the game. It is good to have UDRS when you don't get a plumb lbw. In tight games, if you have technology, rather use it. I am all for UDRS,” Gambhir stated at the post-match press conference after his side defeated the
Deccan Chargers in a fixture of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League.

Gambhir showered praise on his team for displaying a powerful and disciplined performance in yesterday’s game and urged them to sustain their winning momentum in the upcoming fixtures of the ongoing Indian Premier League tournament. He was pleased that the
batting line up managed a heavy total that was effectively, defended by the bowlers.
Gambhir said while speaking to reporters, “I have always said that momentum is very important. When you have that momentum, you have to keep continuing to play well. It was a good overall performance. The batsmen scored 170 and the bowlers backed it up.
I think it was good professional effort.”
The Kolkata Knight Riders skipper instructed his side to disregard their previous wins and focus on the next game. Speaking as a professional cricketer, he said that every match should be treated as the first game of the tournament.
“You have to keep thinking of each and every game and keep thinking as it is first game of the tournament,” the 29-year-old deliberated.
Gambhir stated that he is taking pleasure in his stint as the skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders. He maintained that he has always enjoyed the captaincy role as it offers a great learning experience. The left handed batsman added that the jubilance associated
with winning a game as the captain has no match.
