Liberated from pressure after having been knocked out of the ongoing Champions League Twenty20, the Kolkata Knight Riders played a fearless game against the Titans on October 21, and succeeded in claiming a 99-run win over their opponents at Newlands in
Cape Town.
While the KKR’s victory does them no good, coming too late to have any impact on their chances in the tournament, it has put their opponents in a tight spot as far as qualification for the tournament semi-finals is concerned – the hitherto unbeaten Titans

of 20 overs, at the expense of 5 wickets.
