Kolkata icon : Victoria Memorial : save it - campaign for all bans ?

The dwellers in Kolkata and the visitors in this great glorious city of 300 plus yrs old :

Save this momument called "Victoria Memorial", its crystal clear white marbles are fading to 'yellowish"

-This is an icon of this comopolitan culture rich city.

May you join for a campaign to save it ....?

- ban everything not eco friendly around this monument

- ban all food-preperations around it

- ban all fires and ovens, all kinds arount it

- ban all plastics and plastic carry bags around it

Hotels and restaurants on a radius of " three kilometers" :

- use only pollution free ovens

- stop all "tandurs" run on coal or charcoals

Dont bother whether you are 'three stars' or ' five stars ' ... !!

Obtain proper licence and permission from :-

- the Kolkata Corporation

- the Polution control Board

- the Kolkata Police

AND, the Y/A members, your suggestions for all these ?

Your concern is right. Although its not a question I support your proposal. You should right to all other society networks especially those who are associated with Kolkata.
