Kombucha tea question about scoby HELP!!?

Question

When I was harvesting (pouring into bottles) my tea I sat the scoby on a glass plate w/o realizing it needed to be covered in it's tea. It was only for about 5 minutes tops. Should it be ok? Please don't give me a bunch of how to sites I allready looked high and low for the answer to this I'd like to see if anyone has done this before and if the scoby survived. Thanks.

I've done the same thing more than once...  

It'll probably be fine if it was only for 5 minutes.  Only way to find out for sure is let it grow a little bit and see.  If 5 minutes stressed it out too much, you'll know.  It'll get a big black spot (happened to me once).  Or it will get some other growth that isn't a consistent color/texture.

I'm betting it'll be fine, assuming the plate was very clean...
