Manchester City’s captain and Belgian international, Vincent Kompany believes that City will be a huge success in the future.
City took on Arsenal in the Premier League last night, as the team looked to close in on the gap that Manchester United had created at the top of the league table.
However, following a game that saw the North London team dominate and hit the post on three occasions, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mikel-Arteta-c25715 went on to score from twenty five yards, as he helped the Gunners pick up all three points from the game.
As a result of the win for Arsenal, City are now eight points behind Manchester United and stand almost no chance of winning the league title this season.
Despite the way the season is ending for City, a number of the team’s players believe that the season has had a lot of high points for the team and that it’s all uphill from here.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184, who had one of his best games in a City shirt last night, went on to use his Twitter account to state: "Success will come to our club, look where we've come from, it's only a matter of time. Big thank you to fans that came down in numbers!"
Former Arsenal midfielder and current City executive, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. They've been a force at home. City still have 6 games, it's out of our hands. You never know what can happen."
Despite both Kompany and Vieira feeling positive, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero went on to send a rather depressed message to his fans, as he went on to claim: "There's not much today after a loss like this. It's harder now but this is the time for us to show our strength."
Nonetheless, even though the season is now more than likely to be over for City, the team needs to go on and put on some eye catching performances, in order to keep their confidence at a high, so that they can come in next season and continue from where they left off.
