Manchester City’s captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184 has gone on to claim that the team is going to get better in the future. He also admitted that the team had been doing brilliantly so far, and any improvement would see them leapfrog ahead of their rivals.
City have already gone on to win the Community Shield this season, while picking up seven points out of a possible nine.
The team’s defence did look a little shaky in their games, but Kompany feels that the team is going to start coming together as the season progresses and this is going to help all aspects of the team.
The Belgian feels the team just needs to work a little harder in their games, and once that does happen the team will become unstoppable.
The City captain is reported to have said: "We have seven points out of nine and have won the Community Shield against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 so things haven’t started too badly.”

"We have had some really good periods in games, but there are areas we need to work a bit harder on. We're not dismantling teams at present like we were at this stage last season.”
Kompany then went on to reveal that this season, the team looked a whole lot more deadly in their away games, while they managed to seize and take every opportunity that had been presented to them.

"Everything was flying in this time last season, so we were effectively winning games earlier and making things easier for ourselves.”
"We generally give very few chances away, but when we have so far in the opening weeks, we've been unlucky because teams have punished us, though I think we have defended well overall.”
City are looking to be a real threat this season, and despite the team not being able to perform at their best, they are bound to get better from here on.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has gone on to make a number of clever signings, which are bound to improve the team even further and help them move forward from here on.
It is now a wait to see whether City can go on and defend their Premier League title this season or not.
