Manchester City’s captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184 feels that the Premier League has had a very positive impact on the Belgium national team, considering the fact that a number of players from the country are now playing in the Premier League.
When talking about how he feels about the national team and the number of Premier League players from his country that play in the league, the defender is reported to have said:
"I'm proud of every player. There are too many players to name. We've now got so many Belgium players in the Premier League," Kompany told reporters.
Four years ago I was the first, after me http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002 arrived.”

"Since then it's a great competition for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, but also on the international stage."
The Belgian team has  a number of well renowned players amongst their midst, but despite that fact, the City defender wants the nation to be regarded as one of the best out there.
He added: "We Belgian's sell beer, but we've also got more than chocolate and waffles!”

"We didn't qualify for Euro 2012 because of the difference between performing well, and continuing to perform well.”

"Many players now made the step to the top, like Vertonghen, Hazard and Dembele. They bring experience to stay at the top."
Given the way the Belgian players have been playing in the league, they are bound to go on and take their new found confidence and chemistry to the national team.
Once this does happen, the team is bound to end up performing even better, which could see them do much better on the international stage.
Kompany has gone on to being regarded as one of the best defenders in the league and arguably the world, due to the performances that he puts in for his club side.
Should the rest of the players play for their clubs with the same intensity, then they could also end up becoming vital parts of their club and country’s plans for the future.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds for the Belgian national team and its rising superstars.
