Korean adoptive families, what are your plans?

Do you celebrate as a nuclear family? Do you gather everyone together? Does anyone have any recipes to share?

  1. Our agency has a special event for Chuseok each year, in collaboration with our state's Korean-American Association. There are cultural performances, korean food, and usually several guest from Korea that fly in for the event. (often Korean foster mothers)

    Then, at home we usually have a special dinner, usually with extended family, read books about Korea or look at our children's photo albums from Korea (they're only 1 and 3, so there's only so much we can do right now cultural-wise)
