  1. Hi - 안녕 <ahn-nyung> (informal, you use this only when you're older than the other person; your tone must rise on the second syllable) 안녕하세요 <ahn-nyung-ha-say-yo> (formal)

Bye - 안녕 (ahn-nyung> (when you say this, both syllables must be pronounced with a flat tone in order to be recognized as "bye," usually accompanied by a waving gesture) 안녕히가세요 <ahn-nyung-he-gah-say-yo> (formal)

    Yes - 어 <uh> (Yes, but a little informal) 네 (Yes, formal) 맞아/맞었어 <ma-ja / ma-jyeus-so> (Correct (formal), Correct/Right (informal) 응 <eung> (Very informal, usually use with friends)

No - 아니 <ah-ni> (Informal) 아니오 <ah-ni-yo> (Formal)

OK - 응 <eung> (Very informal) 맞아/맞었어 <ma-ja / ma-jyeus-so> (Correct (formal)) 오케이 <oh-kay-ee> (This is a transliteration of "Okay," and is used often by Koreans)

GOOD JOB - 좋아/좋았어 <joe-ah / joe-ahs-so> (Good, but say with a cheery tone, or it may be interpreted as "I like") 참 잘했어 <cham jal-haet-so> (You did really well)

EXCELLENT - 아주 잘했어 <ah-joo jal-haet-so> (You did extremely well)

    WAIT - 기달여 <ghee-dal-yo> (Wait)

ONE MINUTE - 일분 <il-boon> (One minute or 60 seconds) 잠깐만 기달여 <jham-ggan-mhan ghee-dal-yo> (Just wait for a moment)

    WATER - 물 <mool>

FOOD - 밥 <bhap> (Rice, but also used to mean "meal") 식사 <shik-sah> (Formal, meal)

Hope this will help you with your communication.
