what do you call Korean language is it like mandarin or something???

    Korean is called korean...

    Also, korean isn't called hangul, that is the korean writing system, not the spoken language.

    In Korean, spoken language would be "Hanguk Mal", or literally "Korean speech".  Written language would be "Hangul".
