Hi :]

I would like to go on my 400th diet.

haha

but this time I would replace one of my meals with a korean dish for lunch.

For the next 8 weeks

I would eat some sort of fruit for breakfast.

Then for lunch I'd eat a half a cup of rice with seaweed, and a tiny bit of kimchee. [spicy cabbage]

Then for dinner, eat some sort of salad with turcky, egg, onions, lima beans, with light dressing.

what do you think?

That's prob under 1000 calories.

  1. sounds ok but i would recommend you eat some sort of protein with breakfast and/or lunch, or you might become very hungry and end up snacking on something bad (if you're anything like me!).

protein staves off hunger for longer than just carbs on their own. good luck with your diet!

  2. You can eat Kimbap for lunch. It's the Korean version for Maki. They are these little round things wrapped in seaweed and it has rice and carrots.

  3. That's gross.  Howzabout trying to eat everything cooked with kimchee like I ate at a cafeteria in Pohang, Korea.  Good Lord Almight!  They only give you one cup of water.  And everything is saturated with kimchee except a little bit of white rice.  Go one that diet and you'll be as skinny as they were in no time.

  4. yeah. any korean food will help with your diet. except noodles, of course, because they're high in carbs

something that has practically no fat in it and is very high in nutrients is "dwen jang g o o  k"

it's a traditional soup that u mix rice in, i think every single korean eats it haha

it's so healthy that they say you can eat dwen jang g o o k and rice everyday of your life and you'll live perfectly fine.

it's like a korean version of miso soup.. but the taste is diff, i dont think foreigners might like it.

you could also try the many side-dishes which are all very low in fat.

your diet can be fun! u can try many little dishes and experiment!

  5. well i actually enjoy kimchee so i say, if you like it, go for it. but just to let you know, i heard eating 6 small meals a day as opposed to 3 meals a day actually helps you loose weight because it keeps your metabolism running. try adding two healthy snacks to this menu. and good luck w/ your diet.
