Hi I spoke to a korean women from the korean consulate in New york, and she told me that a visa cost $45. Do I need to pay for my son also to get a visa for $45 he's 6yrs old. We are getting a visa, because my husband is stationed over there, and once we get there he's gonna ask for command sponsor so that we can get the long term visa, but for now my son and I are just gonna get the temp visa which is for 90 days. we are gonna get that visa, because if not I would have to pay round trip for my son and myself, and that would not make sense, especially whith us trying to get to stay over there in korea with my husband. Can anyone answer this question for me about the cost of the visa.

thank you and god bless.

  1. It says $49 fee for a tourist visa. I think you have to pay for your son's application too.

  2. yes your son also needs a visa, so it will total at 90 dollars for the temporary visa, the permanent onie will cost much more though.
