http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742 feels that his club and international team mate, Olivier Giroud should get more chances to represent France, as he feels the attacker has proven just what he is capable of this past season for
the Gunners.
Giroud went on to make the move to the Emirates at the start of the Premier League season, and everyone felt that he would fail to accomplish anything for the team.
However, with him scoring fifteen times and picking up multiple assists for the team, he seems to have settled right in at the club.
Giroud has proven to be the pivotal point in the Gunners attack for most of the season, and his goal against Bayern Munich, almost helped the North London club produce one of the greatest comebacks in the Champions League’s history.
Koscielny feels that the way the striker has been performing, he should get his fair share of chances to represent the team in the World Cup qualifiers in the coming month.
"He did his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 team, I thought he would have a little more," Koscielny said in a recent interview.
At the moment, Real Madrid forward http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 is regarded as the primary striker for the French national team, but Koscielny feels that with both of them fighting for the same spot, things could get very interesting for the
team really fast.
"Now we are lucky to have very good strikers in the France team, so the competition is there," he added.
The defender then went on to end by admitting that even if the striker didn’t get to start every game for his team, he would still come on and give it his all on the pitch, irrelevant of when he is brought on to do so.
The Gunners centre back then ended by stating: "[Giroud] is someone who does not give up, if he plays for half an hour, fifteen minutes or five minutes, he will give the maximum to help the team just as he did against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011."
