Kosovo "Genocide": What are the statistics?

This is not about whether or not this was an actual genocide.

I would really like to know the stats of the following:

-OF THE TOTAL DEATHS-

1) What % were Ethnic/Albanian deaths caused by the Serbs

a) What % were civilians and what % KLA/"Terrorist"

2) What % of Serbs were killed by Ethnic/Albanians

a) What % was YP/Serbian Police and what % Serb Civilian

3) What % of casualties were caused, overall, by NATO

a) What % were civilians

b) What % were Albanian and % Serbian civilians

c) What % were Albanian/KLA and % Serbian/Police

Also, please supply actual quantitative numbers if possible, not just percents.

So in 1998 Kosovan albanians were around 75% of the population and Serbs about 10% (exact figures impossible as no census has taken place there since 1991.

This site claims that 50% of the population in 1941 were Serbs. The Serbs were ethnically cleansed by the fascists in Kosovo.

However in 1912 Kosovo had not been a part of any sort of Serbian nationhood since 1455 at the lastest.

In 1948 Serbs made up 27.47% of the population of kosovo, dropping in the 1970s and then further in the 1980s.

according to someone who wrote on wikipedia, in 1838 58% of the population was muslim (some of these were serbian muslims and the rest albanian muslims.) 38% were Serbian christians.

However annother austrian did a study and found that serbs made up 64% of what is more or less kosovo now.

In 1899 they estimated that albanians made up 47.88% while Serbs 43.7% of the population.

But serbs are counted as serbs regardless of whether they were muslim serbs or christian serbs and it remains to be seen whether these serbs converted back to christianity in 1912 when serbia gained control of the area and serbs immigrated there, or whether they are now considered a part of the kosovan albanian population.

By 1906 it seemed that 66% were albanian and 1/3 serbian. By 1921, under Serb control muslims were 75% of the population. Colonization programs began in 1922 by the serbs.

In 1938 the serbs wanted to expel 200,000 turks and albanians from kosovo but only 4,000 went. It was estimated that 25% of the population in 1939 were serbs.

About 10,000 serbs were massacred in the italian part of yugoslavia. Serbs were cleansed and albanians from albania came into the area.

However, in 1948, even with the 100,000 albanians coming in from albania, the population stats still say 68% albanian, not much more than in 1906, and the serbs at 25%, about the same as in 1939.

This is all important as much of the claims and counter claims are based on the ethnic cleansing and massacres that were going on previously. Kosovo did not belong to serbia in any way shape or form, however at times it seems (though the stats are probably more than dodgy) that the serbs were the majority, and other times the albanians, however it also suggests that muslims were the majority always, under the ottoman empire.

Now to the questions

1a) ABout 10,000 albanians were killed by the serbs

3) Between about 1,500 and 5,700 depending on who you listen to

a)169 soldiers reported killed by the yugoslavian govt of the 5,700 civilians they claim were killed.

I don't know the actual statistics, but there were certainly instances of brutality on both sides.  We are talking about ancient Christian vs. Muslim wars, and both have played their part.

That's a tough call..  Please keep in mind that the Serbs owned the land until the gypsy muslims came in to claim Albania which has always been Serb land.

When Bill Clinton turned around and bombed them for over 3 months straight when the US was training them to fight the worldwide terrorists (Islamic Extremists), it caused great shame to America. Funny thing is.. The same Islamic groups came to America for a free ride at college and a great training session with US based flight schools....

Prior to 9/11 that is.

We need John McCain to straighten this out and get America back on it's feet.

The only thing I know is that before 1999. war Serbs were 40% of Kosovo population and after the war,after NATO involved,Serbs are less than 10% of Kosovo.And NATO killed about 3000 Serbian civilians.Less than 200 Serbian soldiers were killed by NATO.

edit:The genocide was committed by Albanians.It is obvious.Hundreds of Serbian churches burned,thousands of Serbs killed or forced to flee from Kosovo,the percentages I gave show that clearly.Tom is an albanain propagandist,so don't trust his lies.
