http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 caretaker manager Lorenz-Gunther Kostner wants a quick decision from the Bundesliga outfit. He is desperate to seek his long-term future with them sooner rather than later, as they are mulling over who should
succeed veteran coach, Felix Magath.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Bayern midfielder was temporarily handed over the club after Magath decided to part ways with them at the end of October. The new appointment has done well until now as he helped
them move up in the table, within ten points safe of the relegation zone.
However, this impressive cameo has not impressed sporting director Klaus Allofs as he has not confirmed the full-time appointment of Kostner. The waiting game has frustrated the coach and he has expressed his feelings publicly.
The trainer claimed that he came in at a tough period and guided them off the foot of the table. He said if they still do not want him, they should notify him rather than making him wait. He stated that he is left in the
dark over his role at the club which is getting to him now.
"I have taken the team from the bottom of the table and if they still don't want to carry on working with me, then they should just tell me quickly," he added.
"There has been absolutely no information for how long this whole thing should go on for and that is what I'm talking about," he mused.
"It seems like the impression is we did not deserve to win last weekend and they wanted to even things up. That was never a red card. There's no question about it being a foul, but certainly not a red card,” he stated.
