Kowloon Conner favourite for William Hill A13 The Heart Of The Region, Delwood Roko looking good in A14 The Supreme Team
Fridays Daryl is full of spirit after running very well at Monmore, but still Kowloon Conner’s winning momentum is hard to ignore. The black dog is in great form these days and holds the best chance of stealing the show in the William Hill A13 The Heart Of The Region, taking place at Sheffield on Tuesday, July 10th.
After a close A2 success, B. Draper’s charge stepped up to the A1 level and continued his good form. The son of Hondo Black registered two consecutive A1 victories last month, forcing the connections to bring him up at the highest level of the sport.
A change in the class would put him under pressure, but the way he has been performing over the past few weeks, it will be foolish to ignore his chances for the top prize. The draw should also be a plus for him.
Fridays Daryl seems to be biggest threat. The J. Bateson-trained is stepping into this contest after a couple of reasonable outings. Despite being in good shape, he will find it mighty difficult to stop Kowloon Conner from enjoying the party.
On the other hand, Delwood Roko, who was a grader here last year, is facing a weak opposition in the William Hill A14 The Supreme Team, and there is no reason why he should not grab an easy win tonight.
After a few terrible journeys, Charlie Lister’s high profile hound put his campaign back on the winning ways at the start of this month. In a 480 metres race at Nottingham, a late surge steered him to a close triumph.
Hotshow Ben’s son defeated Bower Laramie by a head’s distance to seize the first position. A convincing win would have boosted up his confidence to a great extent and therefore, one can easily expect him to outclass the rest of the pack.
Out of others, Swift Example seems to be an interesting candidate. The black dog is also brimming with confidence following a recent strike. However, there will be some pressure on him, as he is stepping up to this level.
