Kraken ride?

Question

I'm going to Seaworld in a couple of weeks on a field trip and my crazy teacher is going to make us ride ever ride there no matter how much we complain. (She's enthusiatic about roller coasters) I'm a bit hesitant about Kraken. How is the ride? Is it really that scary? How does it compare to Dueling Dragons? (The only coaster I've ever been on)

i don't know...won't get to ride it til next year when i head to orlando.  but no one can make you ride it if you don't want to.

Kraken is an amazing roller coaster!  It's nothing compared to the dueling dragons!  I went on Krake before them and they were scarier.  It goes by really quick, but your feet hang down.  It's really fun though and Sea World would be a waste without it.  Havee Funn!

It depends on how tall you are? I'm pretty sure you have to be taller for Kraken than you do for DD.

Kraken isn't THAT scary!! If you found DD sort of scary, Kraken won't be much worse...I mean, consider that similarly to DD, the drop on Kraken is at an angle so it's not straight down and it's not that much higher of a drop either.

If you sit in the middle it will be a lot LESS scary then in the very front. As long as you're tall enough, you should be ok and will probably end up liking it! Good luck!!

Kraken is pretty amazing. it was my first roller coaster and now I'm a coaster fanatic.

Its way better than dueling dragons in my opinion.

Kraken ranks pretty high up there with the best in Orlando.
