Slavoljub Muslin takes full responsibility for FC Krasnodar’s latest Russian Premier League defeat against Krylia Sovetov Samara at Kuban stadion
In the latest round of Russian Premier League action, FC Krasnodar suffered a 2-0 defeat against Krylia Sovetov Samara at Kuban stadion. The Byki surrendered against the relegation-threatened, Samara club, after conceding two goals
at home.
Anton Baber opened the scoring for the visiting team before http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivan-Taranov-c17348 doubled their advantage immediately after the start of the second period.
In the aftermath of the outcome, Slavoljub Muslin has lamented their latest defeat against the Rats, admitting that they failed to meet the fans expectations after suffering a shocking defeat in the final home match of the ongoing
campaign.
Muslin admitted that the Russian outfit needs to improve. However, he denied the fact that the Samara-based club has any problem with either the confidence or the motivation for big matches.
The fact that Krasnodar recorded their third defeat during the third league round disappoints Muslin, who has urged his side to win the upcoming match against Spartak Nalchik in order to finish the season on a high.
As things stand, Krasnodar are at the ninth spot in the league and eight points above their closest rivals, Amkar Perm.
“It is a pity that we have failed to win against Krylia the entire season, having draw and lost twice against them this season. But I think we would have won the match had we taken our chances. I think it is unfair by today - we
had a lot of moments.
“We played well and created many chances, but made mistakes in the final stages. Krylia had minimum shot and they scored two goals from them. This is football: you have to score, if you want to win. We don’t have any problem with
motivation.” The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lokomotiv-Moscow-c39150 manager was quoted as saying.
Muslin went on to reveal that the Byki have had a good season irrespective of the series of disappointing results during the round. He thanked the fans for their support and assured them of coming back stronger next season.
