Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian wedding interrupted by the cops – NBA Report
The wedding of the socialite Kim Kardashian and the basketball player of the New Jersey Nets, Kris Humphries that had created hype in media for the past few months was finally held on August 20 after about six months of dating,
three months of an engagement and too many endorsements worth millions of dollars. The star studded wedding was going according to plan until the Police showed up as uninvited guests.
The lockout has paved way for the reporters to report every minor thing that is happening in the lives of everyone linked with the National Basketball Association, especially the players.
The venue chosen by the high profile couple to say “I do” was the $29 million Montecito estate outside Santa Barbara in California.
Both Kris and Kim had planned their nuptials to minute detail, and chose an old-glamour Hollywood as a theme for the event.
The wedding was attended by celebrities from Hollywood like Robin Thicke, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Ali Dina, Demi Lovato, Julianne Hough, Ryan Seacrest, Mark Ballas, La La Anthony, Serena Williams and Katie Lee Gifford among
many other stars. Many people related to the New Jersey Nets were also seen after the NBA had granted them permission to attend the function, making an exception of the fact that the ongoing lockout does not allow the players and officials to meet.
The lavished marriage ceremony however came to an early end on Saturday night after the agitated neighbours called the cops and complained about the noise.
It was around midnight when police halted the party and DJ Cassidy was ordered to shut down the music after they received a complaint about the loud volume of music from the neighbours.
Kim maintained her composure after she was told about the news. She looked calm and relaxed throughout the ceremony, but according to sources, her sister Khloe seemed upset from the situation and made a bit of scene by expressing
her uneasiness. She talked to the event planner few times to know if they could do anything. However, the response was negative.
Although the deejay did his spinning only for an hour, the performances of other entertainers kept the guests spell bound with their performances. Robin Thicke’s the "Earth, Wind & Fire" took Kim and Kris onto the dance floor
where they cut their black-and-white Hansen cake worth $20,000 for their 440 guests, most of whom stayed till 2 am.
From the well arranged glitzy ceremony, it is evident that Mr and Mrs know how to throw a party. All they need to make sure is to include the neighbours in the guest list next time.
