After winning the stage, Kris told the media, “This is the biggest local race in Canada and it’s a very prestigious race to win, overall I’m feeling great, the course was good but I really had to push hard to keep ahead

race.”
Pendrel was the member of the Canadian National team since 2003 and grabbed the fourth spot in Summer Olympics in 2008.
Brandi Heisterman of the Whistler team was in the second spot with 13 minutes and 40 seconds behind Catharine. Jean Ann Berkenpas of Xprezo – Borsao finished third with a difference of 17 minutes and 22 seconds.
