The Asian Giants are currently playing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Afghanistan-c745 in Group A.
"In eight days' time the T20 World Cup is starting. The Indian team is one of the strongest on paper. To pick the eleven itself is going to be difficult for the team management. It will be difficult to decide whom to drop," the former opening batsman said.

As a selector, Srikkanth oversaw his side winning the ODI World Cup in 2011 after a lapse of 28 years and hopes that while he might not be in the office half way through the T20 championship, he would still enjoy an Indian victory on October 7 in Colombo.
Srikkanth and three other co-selectors including http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Surendra-Shriram-Bhave-c91947, will step down on September 27 after completing their term at the Cricket Board’s AGM.
The outgoing chief selector was also a member of the World Cup winning squad led by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kapil-Dev-c70234 in 1983, but considers the World Cup triumph under Dhoni as more satisfying.
“I would be chairman when the tournament starts but would be ex-chairman when India win," he said
