The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Chief Selector, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, has brushed aside the injury concerns embroiling the Indian cricket team touring Australia, saying that despite injury scares the Men in Blue would do well in the
four-match Test series against Australia starting in Melbourne on Boxing Day.
The BCCI National Selection Committee Chairman expressed confidence in the Indian armour and hoped Dhoni and his men would come up with some positive results against the Australians this Southern Hemisphere summer.
Srikkanth said that injuries are part and parcel of the game and they are not overly concerned about the Indian camp.
"Don't worry. I think every team has injury problems,” said the BCCI chief selector Krishnamachari Srikkanth while talking to the media reporters after calling on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. “Everybody has problems. I don't think we
should have any cause for worry. I am very confident this team will do very well in Australia," the national selector added further.
