Krone patch panel

Question

We rent a house in Australia and a previous owner has installed a Kroner panel (in fact it looks like 2) anyway we seem to beable to get ADSL through one of the sockets patched through the panel but we cannot get incoming telephone calls, we can get outgoing calls. If we go to the panel (top of an airing cupboard) and plug the phone into the panel at the input connection we can get both in and out but we cannot get the modem anymore as it is plugged into another socket which is no longer attached!
