Krylia Sovetov Samara expecting tough fight against Zenit St. Petersburg, claims Anton Sosnin
Krylia Sovetov Samara midfielder, Anton Sosnin, has revealed that the Perya need to play quality football in order to defeat Zenit St. Petersburg at home.
Sosnin highlighted that the Krysy are enjoying a fine spell in the Russian Premier League, having collected five points in their last three games. Sovetov Samara won their previous league encounter against FC krasnodar by a 2-1 score line. The Perya dominated
the entire ninety minutes with the two-goal lead and the Byki scored an injury time goal to lessen the humiliation.
The Russian midfielder admitted that that the Perya need to claim full points in order to avoid playing in the Russian First Division next season. Sosnin assured the fans that the team is preparing hard for their upcoming tie and promised them that they
are going to watch fine football at their home stadium.
Sosnin revealed that the team is moving in the right direction under the leader ship of Zelyono-belo-sinie head coach, Andrey Kobelev. The midfielder believes that the newly arrived coach is settled well with the club and the result shows this fact.
Sosnin was used as a substitute in the recent league matches. The midfielder has revealed that he completely believes in the manager and he is happy to get some minutes on the pitch. The promising player admitted that the competition for places at the Russian
club is rising and he needs to perform well in order to book his place in the starting berth.
“We are in a situation that we have absolutely nothing to lose. After the victory over the Krasnodar, the team is confident. I am working hard and trying to show off the head coach the best performance.  We have changed a lot with the arrival of new head
coach. The club is gradually improving, and I hope that the success is going to continue but we must hurry to get out of the danger zone.” Sosnin was quoted as saying.
