Krylia Sovetov Samara lacking confidence in the Russian Premier League, admits Andrey Kobelev
In the latest round of Russian Premier League action, Krylia Sovetov Samara won 2-1 against Terek Grozny at home. Despite the win, Krylia head coach, Andrey Kobelev, has insisted that the Russian outfit is still lacking confidence playing in the Russian
top division.
The match started off well for the home team and they managed to score the opening goal of the match, but their lead was cancelled out by the Chechens midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-c24899 soon after.
In the second period of the match, Kuban took the lead again and managed to hold on till the final whistle, claiming much needed three points.
With the win, Krylia Sovetov Samara have now come out of the drop zone, leaving behind the likes of Spartak Nalchik and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Tom-Tomsk-c39228 in the relegation battle. Kobelev is of the opinion that the Perya did not live up to their expectations after their promotion
from the Russian First Division.
Kobelev went on to admit that the Chechens were difficult to play against and they deserve a place among the top-eight teams. Back-to-back defeats and managerial changes have seen the Russian outfit struggle in the Russian Premier League this season.
“I think as long as we are not psychologically ready, we will struggle to find confidence. We need to understand our responsibilities and should concentrate on our work.” The former Dynamo Moscow manager was quoted as saying.
The former Real Betis midfielder went on to praise Steeve Joseph-Reinette for adapting a different role, playing as a left-back during the game. Kobelev is of the opinion that the French footballer bossed the Chechens midfield maestro, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-Legear-c19037.
Speaking on Aleksei Kontsedalov’s match performance, he said:
“Alex had a good match. Terek relied on their two powerful strikers but we defended well. In general, they had only one moment in the game.”
Kobelev went on to express his disappointment over the refereeing decisions during the match. The Russian tactician highlighted that the match official gave unnecessary advantages when he needed to stop the game.
The Krylia manager revealed that the Perya need to work harder for the next season and urged his side to win the upcoming league tie against Anzhi Makhachkala.
