  1. Ktm are usually a lot more expensive to buy and I consider the Yamaha and the Honda to be comparable.  A lot of the guys on here keep telling me that the Kawasaki 2008 model is the best 250cc around for 2008.  I still have hesitation to this but the users stating this are really top answerers so they may have a point.

It would depend upon what use you are intending to put the bike to and what ability you have.  As a beginnner any of the known brands would be good.

  2. i need to know how much you weigh and how tall you are and if you like to go fast   DETAILS MAN,DETAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  3. I don't really know why he needs to know your size, their all the same size. If you can handle the power than I would get a CRF250R. If you like to just take it easy but still have power than a CRF250X would be good. If you are just learning to just trail ride than a KLX250F would do good.

  4. like auburn said i think the kawasaki is the best for racing this year but probeley isnt quite as bullet proof as a honda and yam so out of the three you listed i would go with either the yam or honda they are both good reliable bikes although the yams dont turn but this can be sorted by lowering the rads.

as for the ktm they are fast but the suspension is c**p and they fall apart my dad who is only a vet rider has an 08 ktm and he has had little problems with it like the fuel pipe spliting and kickstart breaking they do have a strong clutch and amazing breakes though . as for wich one holds the longest if you mean wich one has revs out the longest  id say the honda

  5. i havent owned a ktm but yamaha vs. honda. i say honda

  6. You really can't go wrong with any of them. I race the CRF now but if I were buying a new one this year it would be the KX250F. KTM makes a great bike but their suspension just isn't up to par with the j*p bikes. It is very tricky to get dialed in and has to be changed more often for different conditions. Very finicky.

  7. They are all excellent bikes. If you want a good engine go with KTM. If you want a good engine and suspension get Yamaha. Honda is probably even better than Yamaha. You cant really go wrong. But if your taller (I'm 6'3) the Yamaha is perfect because the pegs r lower and the cockpit is more open. If your not racing and have the money get the KTM, it will last forever. Yamaha and Honda r more focused on MX, not to degrade KTM which is good for racing but needs suspension mods first. So the only thing you need to decide is wich one looks better lol and fits you better (your height).

  8. Your question is kind of vague, but I would choose the Honda crf250.
