Ktm sxf 250 or ktm sx 125?

Question

i know ive already asked this question but i really want to make the right choice ,im 13 and ive been riding for about 2years now but i ent brilliant but i know the basic riding skills,im know im big enough(5,8) because ive sat on both bikes and i know there not heavy aswell because i can hold it up easy, i used to have a kx 85 and i was way to big ,also is it is to do a top end rebuild on a 250four stroke ,please give me sum good awnsers THANKS 125 or 250 four stroke

Definitely the 250F hands down. Can't help you with the top end. I let other folks do my dirty work for me.

hey man i was in the same situation as you are, im 14 around 5-7 and dont race, but am a good rider and i was looking at the 144sx or the kx250f and what got it down for me is that 2 strokes are starting to go downhill and 4 strokes have better power and more low end which is helpful because i ride trails as much as i ride tracks so i went with the 2008 kx 250f which i do not regret!!, hopefully this helps and keep riding.

if ure gunna race your gunna need a 250f to be competetive but if ure not you might be better of on the 125 as there easy to ride and maintain i dont think u would be able to do a top end rebuild on a four stroke its complecated u have cams valves and allsorts in fourstroke engines its not just a case of taking off the head and popping in a new piston

deffanitly go with the 250f. it has way more power and upgrades. plus the 250 hass a longer engine life in it.
