I want to learn kung fu on the net for free. I would suggest the basics of the 5 form animals of kung fu. I don't know where in the web i could find them. Can you give me any sites or youtube videos that helps? I had watched many kung fu movies and i had learned the basics of tai-chi. But i really want the 5 form animals.

  1. I am sorry but you cannot learn any Martial art effectivly over the internet. You might be able to mimic the moves,  but in all honesty you will probably be doing them wrong. You need a qualified instructor to give you feedback and correct all the little mistakes you will undoubtedly make. You also need to train with other students, using progressive resistance, otherwise you might as well not bother.

You couldn't learn to do surgery from a book or video could you? You say you have learned the basics of Tai Chi, but if you were to show a qualified instructor and ask him to point out any mistake's, you would probably be there a long time.

  2. WHAT?????  you can't learn ANY form of martial arts on the internet!!!!!!!!! Especially not kung fu!

mabye you can learn 1 or 2  moves, but it isn't the same as going to a studio

  3. I am sorry to bust your bubble, but You will not be able to correctly learn Kung Fu over the internet.   There are way too many things that cannot be put into words or seen in videos.  It is just way too complex.

  4. no do not learn wushu from the internet. the internet is a good tool for some things, but martial arts is not one of those things. if you want to learn about the 5 animal forms i would suggest finding a respectable dojo that offers them. do not go seeking a dojo that offers quick black belts, find a legitamite one. if you live in CT i can offer you one. good luck finding a dojo. peace.
