Kurban Berdyev hoping for Rubin Kazan to win against Dynamo Kiev despite Anzhi Makhachkala defeat
Rubin Kazan head coach, Kurban Berdyev, has lamented his team’s performance against Anzhi Makhachkala following their laggard performance in the Russian Premier League. The Tatary suffered a humiliating defeat against the wild division as they conceded three
second half goals to lose the game 3-0.
Berdyev believes that the defeat will not affect the team in their Champions League third qualifying round match against Dynamo Kiev. The Rubies are in the pole position to progress to the later stages of the tournament after defeating Dinamiki in their
first leg tie in the Ukrainian capital.
“It's hard to take that defeat but I think that the guys are ready to overcome it with a win. Such lesions are always painful, but we have the experience of switching from one tournament to another. Champions League is a different competition from the Russian
Premier League. Everything is different here in the Russian Championship. We know this and have enough experience too.” The former FC Kairat boss was quoted as saying.

On the other hand, Dynamo Kiev head coach, Yuri Semin, has promised Berdyev that he will come back stronger in the return leg and Berdyev is wary of the threat posed by the Ukrainian Premier League giants. He admitted that Dynamo have a fantastic manager
who is known for his offensive style of play.
“One can say that tomorrow will be a very hard match. Everything else depends on us and the will of Allah. Dinamiki will certainly preparing to play at their best level to make things possible for them.” The Russian Cup winner concluded.
Though Semin has vast experience in dealing with the Russian clubs and known for his managerial skills at Lokomotiv Moscow, the Rubies have a very healthy two-goal advantage ahead of the second leg.
